the Lincroft Campus
From North or South Jersey, use
the Garden State
Parkway. If you are coming from North Jersey be sure to take
the "Local Exits"
lanes after the Raritan Toll Plaza, not the "Express" lanes.
Southbound:
To avoid the congestion of Exit 109-Red Bank, use Exit 114.
Keep right - pay the toll -and
make a right onto Red Hill Road. Then make a left at the next light onto Crawford
Everett Road. (St. Catharine`s Church). Follow to the end - and at the
T make a left onto Route
520 (Newman Springs Road). Head East on Route 520 past Christian Brothers Academy
(on the left) and Thompson Park (on the right) - Brookdale will be on your right
at the traffic light - look for our red sign.
If you use Exit 109-Red Bank: at the bottom of the exit ramp, turn
right onto Route 520 West (Newman Springs
Road). Stay west on Route 520 about two miles; the College entrance, marked with a traffic light, is on the left just
past the town of Lincroft.
Northbound: Use Exit 109-Red Bank, and merge to the far
left at the bottom of the Exit ramp. Make a left onto Route 520 West (Newman Springs
Road). Stay west on Route 520 about two miles; the College entrance, marked with a traffic light, is on the left just
past the town of Lincroft.
From Western New Jersey, take Route 33 towards the
Halls Mills Road - NORTH exit. This becomes Kozloski
Road; follow north `til the intersection with Route 537. Turn right and continue
east on 537 unti
it intersects with Route 34. Turn left onto Route 34 North. At the next traffic light, turn right
onto Phalanx Road; stay on Phalanx about 3 miles. The entrance to Brookdale
will be on the left after crossing the Swimming River Reservoir bridge.
From Route 18 North: Exit at 15A-Wayside Road. Follow
to Route 537 to Laird Road to Phalanx Road where you will see the college Entrance
on the left after the Reservoir.
From Route 18 South: Use the Route 520 East exit and follow to the
College.

Driving Around Lincroft and Brookdale
Brookdale is located in the center of a residential neighborhood here in
Middletown. Please join us in observing the following local traffic laws:
*
No left turn from 7-10 AM on Pine Stree, Lindy Lane, or Oak Street.
* No
right turn from 2-5 PM on Holly, Laurel, or Hickory Lanes.
* Cutting through
the BP/Amoco Station to avoid the traffic light is a violation that carries a
substantial fine and two points.
* On campus speed limits are 25 MPH on
roadways and 15 MPH in parking lots. Minimum fine for speeding is $78 and two
points.

From the Brookdale campus:
Use the main entrance, and turn right onto
Newman Springs Road. Head east (four lights) until you reach the entrance to the
New Jersey Garden State Parkway South. Take the Parkway South. Follow directions
below.
Traveling south on the Garden State Parkway:
Use Exit 102, which is
Route 66 East. Travel straight on Route 66 East to the Asbury Park circle. Follow
signs for Asbury Park, crossing Route 35 to Asbury Avenue. Follow Asbury Avenue
straight to Grand Avenue in Asbury Park and make a right turn onto Grand Avenue. Go
to the next traffic light, then turn right onto Monroe Avenue. Asbury Park Higher
Education Center is 601 Grand Avenue, the 5-story brick building on your right.
Traveling north on the Garden State Parkway:
Take Exit 100-Neptune. Turn
right onto Asbury Avenue, pick up Route 66 East, and follow into Asbury Park.
For the Center, follow directions above.

From the Brookdale Campus:
Head east to the 2nd traffic light. At that light, make a left
onto Middletown-Lincroft Road and continue to the 2nd traffic light at Dwight
Road. Turn left onto Dwight Road and continue straight, even though the road
changes names several times.
Eventually this will become Laurel Avenue;
continue on Laurel Avenue, crossing Route 36. After you cross Route 36, the
Brookdale Center will be on your left.
From the Garden State
Parkway:
Use Exit 117. After the toll, take Route 36 East. Follow 36 East
until you see signs for Laurel Avenue / Keansburg Beach. Take this exit; go
around the "jughandle" to cross over Route 36. The Brookdale Center will be on
your left; parking in the rear of the building.
From Route 35
(local):
Take Route 35 until you see the Holmdel Shopping Center at Laurel
Avenue. Turn onto Laurel Avenue EAST and follow until you cross Route 36. The
Center will be on your left.

the next building on the corner of Third and Broadway; parking in the rear.

Directions
from North:
Take NJ
Garden State Parkway south to Exit 117. After you go
through the Parkway tolls, bear to the left and get onto Route 36 East. Follow the
signs for Sandy Hook and Gateway National Recreation Area (about 13
miles). Get onto
Sandy Hook and follow the signs for the Sandy Hook
Lighthouse and Fort Hancock (about 4 miles). Bear to the
right of the white missile and get onto Magruder Road and drive 1/4 mile. At the stop
sign you will see Brookdale, Building 53, 100 yards West of the lighthouse.
Directions
from West:
Take NJ
Garden State Parkway to Exit 109 and go East on Route 520 about six miles to
Sea Bright.Turn left
after crossing the Rumson/Sea Bright bridge.Take Route
36 (Ocean Ave.) and drive north about two miles to Sandy Hook Park.
Directions
from South:
Take NJ
Garden State Parkway North to Exit 105, Route 36 East. Get onto
Route 36 East and follow the signs for Seven Presidents Oceanfront
Park. About 6 miles from the parkway, at
a traffic light on Ocean Blvd.,is a sign
for Route 36 North. Turn left at this
light and follow the signs for
Sandy Hook and Gateway National
Recreation Area (about 5.5 miles).

Brookdale`s campus at Wall (on the former Camp Evans military installation)
shares premises with the New Jersey Coastal
Communiversity, a partnership of 8 colleges offering associate, baccalaureate,
and graduate degree courses to central New Jersey coast residents. (About the Communiversity here.)
From Route 18 South:
Take Route 18 South to Exit 7A.Make a right turn at the stop sign onto
Marconi Road. Proceed for 1/4 mile and make a right turn onto Monmouth
Boulevard. Travel 1/4 mile and make a left turn onto 6th Street. Parking will be
on your right.
From New Jersey Garden State Parkway:
Exit New Jersey Garden State Parkway at Exit 98. Take NJ
Route 138 (US Route 195) East to Route 18 North to Exit 6C. Make a right turn
onto Monmouth Boulevard. Stay on Monmouth Boulevard, going straight at the stop
sign. Continue on Monmouth Boulevard for 1/4 mile and make a right turn at the
gate near the Brookdale Communiversity sign. Parking and main entrance is on the
south side of the building.
From Route 195:
Take Route 195 to Route 18 North to Exit 6. Make a right turn onto
Monmouth Boulevard. Stay on Monmouth Boulevard, going straight at the stop sign
(Belmar Boulevard). Continue on Monmouth Boulevard for 1/4 mile and make a right
turn onto 6th Street. Parking will be on your
right.

From the Brookdale campus: Use the side entrance and make a right onto Phalanx Road. Continue on
Phalanx Road until Route 34; make a left at the light onto Route 34 South. At
the first traffic light, make a right onto Route 537. Continue West on Route 537
to Five Points Road (Colts Neck High School); turn right at Route 33 Business District;
turn left onto Main Street (537 West); at second light, turn left onto Route 9
South.
The Western Monmouth Campus is about 300 yards on the right. Enter
through the jughandle on the right, before the next traffic light. Follow signs for the Bank of
America/Freehold Colonial Campus, taking the far right lane past the drive-up
tellers. Brookdale is the 2nd building, in the rear.
From the North:
Take Route 9 South. The Center is about one
mile past the exit for the Freehold Raceway Mall.
From the South:
Take Route 9 North. Take the "jughandle" turn on the right, just past
Schanck Road; it goes directly into the Center parking lot. Back to Top
Public Transportation to the Lincroft Campus
The NJ Transit No. 833 bus between Red Bank and Freehold stops regularly at
the Lincroft campus. The route runs between the Freehold Bus Terminal and
the Red Bank Train Station, with departure and arrival times coordinated with
the North Jersey Coast trains.
