The Adult Basic Education Program provides instruction to Monmouth County residents in the areas of Basic
Education, General Education Development preparation and English as a Second Language.
This year we instituted a program of civics and citizenship with English
Literacy. Computer Assisted Instruction is given at the Long Branch Higher
Education Center.
Classes are held Mondays through Thursdays in the mornings
and evenings. The morning classes are scheduled from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, the
evening classes are scheduled from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The program is available
at four locations: the Western Monmouth Branch Campus, St. Rose’s Parish
Center in Freehold, and The Long Branch and Bayshore Higher Education Centers.
