"The mission of the chemistry program in chemistry is to provide an educational experience in chemical theory and practice that engages students, gives them hands-on experimentation, and helps them to appreciate the role that science plays in our world. The department offers chemistry courses in an environment that provides the resources that facilitate students' ability to meet their educational goals. In addition, the faculty is committed to innovative instructional strategies, continual curriculum renewal, and rigorous professional standards. Articulation agreements provide students with seamless transfer to baccalaureate programs."
