Welcome!
As the
Librarian Liaison to the Business Division, I have created these
pages to help you find library resources and reliable websites related
to your coursework. The links to the left will take you to subject
area resource guides.
Evaluating sources from the World Wide Web is extremely important!
Please visit the "Evaluating
Your Sources" link for guidance on this important step
in the research process.
Also,
remember that the Bankier Library provides access to a wide variety
of electronic
databases and print
and media resources full of reliable information. These are
great places to begin your research.
If you
need assistance getting started on your research, or have a question
about something we discussed in an information literacy session,
don't hesistate to contact me by email or phone at 732-224-2483.
You can also come into the Bankier Library and visit the Help Desk
on the first floor for research assistance.
As you
research, remember to keep track of your source information and
cite it properly. NoodleBib
6 is a wonderful database, available through Bankier Library,
that helps you create, edit and format your APA or MLA bibliography.
I have created a printable How
to Use NoodleBib6 guide for students. Ask your professor which
style guide your class is using and then refer to the MLA Handbook
for Writers, 6th Edition, or the Publication Manual of the
American Psychological Association, 5th Edition, for more information
on properly citing sources. Visit the Citing
Your Sources link for additional information.
