@ Wharton -This
online resource from the Wharton Business School at the University
of Pennsylvania provides a searchable database of over 1,500 articles
and research abstracts. Interviews, conference overviews and book
reviews are also included. A broad range of content areas are covered.
Free registration is required. Liber8 - The Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis librarians designed this site with university and government document librarians, students, and the general public in mind. This site was designed to provide a single point of access to the economic information that the Federal Reserve System, other government agencies, and data providers have to offer. Non-technical sources were selected with the hopes that they would be simpler to use and easier to understand. Library

Marketplace from American Public Media - Marketplace is produced in Los Angeles by American Public Media in association with the University of Southern California. Report Gallery - Search
for company annual reports alphabetically, by company name, by ticker
symbol, by sector, or by industry. Annual reports may be viewed
in either HTML or PDF format. EDGAR
- This
government site provides a full-text searchable index to the filings
by corporations to the Securities and Exchange Commission that are
available to the public (including 10-K reports). Non-electronic
filings, filings that are not available to the public, and any data
prior to 1994 will not be available here. EDGAR stands for "Electronic

Finance - Google
Finance offers a broad range of information
about North American stocks, mutual funds and public and private
companies along with charts, news and fundamental financial data.
According to the FAQ page of the site, "Google Finance works
by combining content [they]'ve licensed from financial data providers
with content [they've] crawled and indexed from the web." Real-time stock quotes now available for the NYSE and NASDAQ exchanges. Investor

Securities & Exchange Commission presents this site to help
investors make wise investments and avoid fraud. The site includes
Investor Tips, Research Tools and Calculators, Resource Links and
Special Information for Military Personnel, Online Investors, Researchers

Seniors. Investor's
Clearinghouse - A
product of the Alliance for Investor Education, this site provides
links to sites dealing with finance and investing. Categories include
young investors, older investors, financial planning, scams, stocks,

- The
NASDAQ stock exchange site offers stock quotes (on a slight delay),
index tracking, and comprehensive market data. Includes a useful
glossary of financial terms for investors. New
York Stock Exchange - The
NYSE website contains stock quotes (on a slight delay), brief company
profiles and current news items. Investor education information

site for investing and personal finance provides US and international

Can Do the Math
Companion Website - This
is the companion website to the book, You Can Do the Math: Overcome

World Factbook - Published
by the US Central Intelligence Agency, this online version contains
economic, social, and political country profiles. Maps and cultural
information are also included. Conference
Board: Global Business Cycle Indicators - This
site provides leading economic indicators for seven countries, including
the United States. Basic data is available for free in the press
release section; a subscription is required to access the full range
of data available. Doing Business - This project provides objective measures of business regulations and their enforcement across 178 countries and selected cities at the subnational and regional level.This web guide is for evaluating regulations that directly impact economic growth, downloading underlying laws, making cross-country comparisons, and identifying good practice reforms. Edge - International Business Resources - Created
by Michigan State University's Center for International Business
Education and Research (CIBER), this site is a is "a knowledge
web-portal that connects international business professionals worldwide
to a wealth of information, insights, and learning resources on
global business activities". The site includes: a directory
of global resources, country insights for nearly 200 countries,
news and analysis of international business, teaching and research
resources, and diagnostic tools for managers. Globalization 101 - A project of the non-partisan and non-profit Center for Strategic & International Studies, Globalization101.org provides unbiased, easily understandable information and related lesson plans to teach about cross-disciplinary subjects such as international trade, foreign investment and global technological changes. ICC "is the voice of world business championing the global

(Service Corps of Retired Executives) - This

Fact Finder - This
source provides comprehensive population, housing, economic, and

of Labor Statistics - As
the principal fact-finding agency for the Federal government in
the areas of labor economics and statistics, this site provides
a wealth of statistical data in areas such as employment, inflation
& consumer spending, demographics, wages/earnings & benefits,
and many more. Access to research and publications is also provided. Census
Bureau Economic Programs - This
page of the US Census Bureau's site provides economic statistics
by geography, sector, and frequency. Topics cover a wide range of
data, including a survey of business owners, county business patterns,
building permits, and more. Congressional
Budget Office - The
CBO is a "nonpartisan agency that produces policy analyses,
cost estimates of legislation, and budget and economic projections
that serve as a basis for the Congress's decisions about spending
and taxes." The site features publications on a range of issues,
economic outlooks and projections, and historical budget data. Federal
Reserve's Beige Book - This
source is produced by the Federal Reserve eight times a year and
provides reports on economic conditions in each of the twelve Federal
Reserve districts. Short-term forecasts are provided for each district

- This
site provides access to official statistics collected and published
by more than 100 Federal agencies without having to know in advance
which agency produces them. Search by alphabetical topic list, agency

Federal Reserve Economic Data - This
site offers a wealth of economic data and information to promote
economic education and enhance economic research. The database contains
over 3000 US economic time series in a full range of categories. Population
Reference Bureau - The
PRB provides articles, datasheets, and reports dealing with national

Rankings from the Statistical Abstract of the United States
- This
piece from the Statistical Abstract of the United States

Jersey State Legislature -
This site's content includes the full-text of the New Jersey Statutes,
constitution, chapter laws, and bills, as well as lists of members
of the Assembly and Senate. Legislators may be searched by town
or district. The legislative calendar tracks the progress of legislation
