Speech/Theater Option
Humanities Program A.A. Degree
Students who wish to specialize in oral presentation skills and/or performing arts at a four-year college or theater training school should choose this option. Those selecting a speech concentration will learn skills valuable in such career areas as sales, government, public relations and broadcasting. Those electing theater may, upon Brookdale graduation, continue at a professional school or four-year college or choose to learn on-the-job in acting, directing, or technical theater. Students selecting the Speech/Theater option are urged to participate in Brookdale theater productions and/or speech competitions.
