Computers & English
Welcome! This site contains information to help faculty and students in their use of Writing technology. We currently have seven computer classrooms, one smart classroom, one open lab, and one faculty computer workroom. In addition to student, faculty, and staff computers, other employed technologies consist of a shared local network, access to email and web page capabilities, and a variety of mobile and stationary equipment (scanner, printers, etc.)
The English Computer Learning Assistant, Kelly Parr, is the first contact for troubleshooting technology. The C&E Coordinator, Dr. Karen D'Agostino, is available to discuss teaching and learning with technology and handles scheduling, special projects, and long-range planning.
For the most recent information on using Writing Technologies, please refer to the English Department Technology Guide. For a hardcopy of the guide, please contact Kelly Parr. To view the electronic PDF version, you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader (a free download).
