ACADEMIC COUNCIL

Academic Council is charged with the oversight of the establishment and discontinuance of all courses and programs and other matters relating to curricula. Its purpose is to assure adherence to College policies on academic matters and to review any actions that affect curricula.

CURRICULUM REVIEW

The Committee should:

1. Conduct the ongoing work of oversight of the approval process for new and revised courses and programs.

MEETING SCHEDULE 2008 – 2009

Ø Academic Council generally meets on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month from 11:45 am – 1:15 pm in MAC 204.

Ø Specific 2008-2009 scheduled dates are as follows: 9/9, 9/23, 10/7, 10/21, 10/28, 11/18, 12/2, 12/16, 1/27, 2/10, 2/24, 3/3, 3/24, 4/7 and 4/21.
