Saying "Thanks!"
Participants thank us several ways after their visit to Sandy Hook. Returning next year is the best way,
since our programs are "self-sustaining." Filling out your evaluation at the end of the trip helps us fine-tune our programming for your next visit.

Thank-you cards from students are always welcome (Even if they take some artistic license with the Sandy Hook lighthouse!)
and are a good extension activity for the class.
Letters from administrators are always helpful to have available at budget time each year.

Finally, some people send us donations.
These are used to buy new equipment and materials for next year.

Cards and evaluations should be addressed to:
The Ocean Institute
53 Hudson Road - Sandy Hook
Highlands, NJ 07732

Donation checks should be made out to:
BCC Foundation-Ocean Institute
7
65 Newman Springs Rd.
Lincroft, NJ 07738

Scholarship money for students studying fish and marinelife, is added to the fund started in memory of Butch Miller; a world-class fisherman and a great admirer of Fort Hancock.

Funds for Environmental Programs at Brookdale are added to the fund for Irving Wasserman of Middletown, NJ; a great friend of Sandy Hook and of education at the shore.
