In some cases the materials can be purchased directly; however, we prefer to distribute them free at our training sessions. Build and test an underwater
Remotely Operated Vehicle
Participants will build an ROV and test their design under water, learn how ROV technology can be infused into high school curriculum tied to state and national standards, and how it is used for research, monitoring and exploration in national marine sanctuaries, and will be provided with an overview of the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) center and regional and national student ROV competitions.
