A scupper's view while sailing east along Devon Island from Beechey Island to Maxwell Bay.

The high gray limestone cliffs of Lancaster Sound are rich in ancient coral reef fossils.

Northern fulmars "surf" on the air wave deflected up
by the moving ship.

From the bridge before sunset; the cliffs
of Baffin Island to the south are
beginning to glow.

The sun sets almost due north of us in the
High Arctic, dipping just below the horizon
for a short time at Midnight.

As we enter the bay, all hands are on deck to survey seals, as Orcas follow in our wake and eventually
pass us on their way into shallower waters.

Calm seas and clear skies prevail as we sail east towards Baffin Bay and Greenland.
