Sorry! there are no full-time career opportunities at the Ocean Institute. Click here for current seasonal openings for instructors.

However, we do hire part-time, seasonal staff for our spring, summer and fall programs. Interested instructors should send resumes for Spring programs by April 1, for Summer programs by June 1 and for Fall programs by August 1. We rarely need extra help for Winter trips, except for classroom visits. All terms are seasonal, with staff used an an as-needed basis. Please indicate your dates of availability and provide the names and contact information, including email addresses, of references.

We are always on the lookout to hire enthusiastic people of varied backgrounds who are interested in sharing their knowledge and experiences with young children. These positions are contract, for intern credit or volunteer status only and provide no benefits; however, we can offer free at-sea burials.
