	Tropicbirds are one of the most graceful fliers but are very awkward on land.
About 5,000 pairs of red-tailed tropicbirds, the largest colony in the Hawaiian Islands, nest on Midway.
	Tropicbirds tend to nest at the base of trees and under bushes. They defend their nest with a loud squawk.
