Sandy Hook 2004
Dog Days of Summer
Working dog and safety officer "Harley" demonstrates some of her many responsibilities including: retrieving lost sneakers, herding campers into shallow water, "dog-fishing" and sharing kid's lunches.

Staff meteorologist Mr. Iamonte demonstrates the principles of negative and positive buoyancy with a simple retrieval system to introduce students to ROV's (Remotely Operated Vehicles) operating underwater.

(Above) Staff prepares the test tank for underwater experimental ROV's that the students have designed.
